Example of how to setup a PMI Alert in IAS Signal with set-by-step instructions.
When the conditions you set for PMI alerts are met, the email addresses you enter get alerted. To set alerts follow these steps:
From the left side navigation of IAS Signal, click Report Builder > PMI Alerts. The PMI Alerts page opens.
Click New Alert to launch the Create Alert page.
Enter your alert name. Note: This field is required.
User the filters to include the team you want to be alert.
Optionally select a template to automatically populate dimensions and metrics.
From the DIMENSIONS section, add the groups for which you want to be alerted. For example, to set an alert for all campaigns for one media partner like YouTube follow these steps:
Add the "Media partners" card to the GROUP BY field.
Select the "Select Specific" radio button. A popup appears.
Choose "YouTube", then SAVE.
Add the "Campaigns" card to the THEN BY field.
Select the "All" radio button.
Set the minimum number of total tracked ads a row needs to exceed to appear in your report. Preset and custom options are available.
Choose the metrics for which you want to be alerted.
Set the performance of selected metrics that will trigger your alert.
Select a metric and a condition from the dropdown menus. Then, fill in a numerical value. You can add more conditions if desired.
Notes:
Among multiple conditions, an OR logic rule is applied.
Numerical values must be valid. If your input is invalid, the Value field appears red and the schedule buttons at the bottom of the page are grayed out and can't be clicked.
Fill in addresses that will receive an email when your alert is triggered. The email will include a download link to view your report with highlighted rows that meet your metric conditions.
Check the Schedule Alerts Until box to have your alerts automatically run until a specified date.
Click the SCHEDULE ALERT AND RUN button or the SCHEDULE button to set up your alert.
Notes:
If you don't set up email recipients, the only way to see if your alert is triggered is by checking the Status column on the Alerts Overview page.
The default date for the Schedule Alerts Until field is two years after the alert creation date.
The Email Addresses and Schedule Alerts Until fields are optional.
Click SCHEDULE AND RUN. Your alert adds to the overview page.
Click on an alert from the overview page to show the history of an alert. You can edit the configuration of the alert by clicking the name in the overview page.
