This article explains how to use the Report Builder to archive data.
IAS Signal retains data for a limited number of months (typically 14 months). Therefore, IAS advises you to download the data from IAS Signal if you want to keep records longer than 14 months.
Note: when an advertiser moves from one agency to another, an agency or client needs to sign IAS paperwork to share data with the new agency (depending on data ownership). Contact your IAS representative for more information on share data with the agency.
Build a new Create Reports with Report Builder report with a custom date range.
Add advertiser/teams.
Include every metric you wish to keep for your records.
Save the Excel or CSV data.
You can create a scheduled archive of data to run at various intervals. You can automate the destination, file format, and scheduling of the data archiving for those set intervals.
You can schedule the report to run every month for up to a year. If you want the schedule to continue after that year, you need to update the report's schedule.
Create a report builder for a set interval (for example, last month). You need to use a set interval in order to schedule reports.
Add advertiser/teams.
Include every metric you wish to keep for your records.
Save the Excel or CSV data.
Schedule the report to run in tandem to the interval you set.
Reschedule the report to continue if you want to extend the automatic archiving another year.
