Integral Ad Science (IAS) measures ad performance on your in-app audio inventory from Pandora's platform with the IAS Multimedia Tag. You can use IAS Signal to customize and view audio verification reports on these metric categories:
Audibility - Metrics related to the number of audible ads in a campaign.
Invalid Traffic - Metrics related to the number of audible ads that were IVT.
Invalid Traffic by Type - Metrics on the types of IVT detected.
Quartile Metrics - The length of time that audible ads played and whether or not they were audible.
Audio Player Metrics - Ad features related to the audio player source or application.
For a full list of definitions, please refer to the metrics glossary: https://helpcenter.integralads.com/article/advertiser-metrics-glossary This solution is currently eligible for direct-buy clients of Pandora.
To Enable Audio Verification with Pandora, follow these steps:
In Google Ads Manager (GAM), create a 1x1 pixel, which will be used for billing.
In Google Ads Manager (GAM), create a VAST tag, which you use for measuring the ad impression metrics. Use a placeholder ad creative if you don’t have the correct creative.
In IAS Signal, wrap your VAST tag with the IAS Multimedia Tag. (See wrapping instructions in the next section).
Send your IAS Multimedia Tag and the 1x1 pixel to Pandora. Pandora will pair your tag to the correct creative.
Note: So that Pandora can properly stitch them together in their OMS system, Pandora needs both:
The IAS Multimedia Tag to track all impression event measurement (for example, for audiblity, IVT, and other events).
The 1x1 pixel for billing. This will not result in billing duplication.
You can wrap your VAST tag with the Automated Tag from Tag Manager. Click this hyperlink to read how to do it: https://helpcenter.integralads.com/article/automated-tag-getting-started
Or you can use the IAS Signal Tag Manager for self service tagging by following these instructions:
Log in to IAS Signal and click Tags in the navigation menu - reporting.integralplatform.com/tag-manager
Search for and select the campaign in which you want to modify tags.
Click the Upload button and select your tag file(s) to upload.
Click the 3 dots under Actions and select Build Tags.
Update the IAS Solution to Multimedia Tag Monitoring for any video/audio VAST placements where you wish to run MMT. If you wish to update all placements on the tag sheet use the Bulk edit: Select all placements option and change IAS Solution to Multimedia Tag Monitoring. Review the details lower on the page to see that MMT has been applied.
Click Save Tab & Continue, then Build Tags. A popup appears with "Build Successful".
You can click to download the tag file.
